AI used:

I am good at research, but because of my disability, I don’t have time anymore. Between my computer repair business, taking care of my chickens, building stuff for my wife like a green house, garden fences, home repairs, etc… and spending 40 to 60 hours a week suffering from extreme nerve pain (neuropathy in my head and neck so severe when the pain is high my vision goes double and blurred, I pass out for short moments but the pain wakes be back up, and scream in pain for hours), I decided to use Google’s AI to look up the information, and I must say, I’m surprised at how helpful it is.

I was against AI until I finally used it, and now realize, it’s a good tool, but only if you use it with care. Gemini makes mistakes, it’s the nature of the beast. Google’s AI, Gemini, searches the web, then makes a conclusion, which can be wrong, or somewhat wrong, depending on the sources it used, so you need to have it do more checks on it’s information. When you’re trying to prove a point, and you know there is data out there, you need to specify that you know this, and just want proof, that helps, then ask it to double check and give references. So I’m still doing the work, I need to check the references, but having all the references found with AI, speeds up the process so much, as well as what it writes. If you detail what you’re trying to prove, give as much info about what you’re thinking, it writes it all out, and at least for me, it seems to know how I would write, because I only have to do a small amount of editing. Gemini seems to write just like I do, and I think it’s because of the way I tell it what I’m thinking, what I’m looking for, and as much info as I can.

Anyway, I’m posting articles straight from Gemini then edit later as I have time, so there will be articles I have not had a chance to edit yet. I’ll try and remember to put a little text on the top of the pages that will say “un-edited”.

Why the name Wut Dix?

A friend\ of mine came up the the words “Wut Dix”. His name was Steve Johnson, he played guitar, he died during covid, here is a website with his music/albums I made as a memorial to his talent https://cadillacpc.com/daddylonglegs/. This was a night in the late 80’s when we had his band set up at my place and spent a couple hours doin some improv,  prog rock improv, while we recorded. Later we were playing poker and Steve was doodling on the cassette tape cover and he used the eraser to rub Wut Dix into the area you name the tape. I like it, I find myself often saying “what a dick” about someone screwing up, now the world is overloaded with people who act insane, bunch of dicks, wut dix…
